FLOOD RELIEF
Khadim Al-Haramian camp set up in Thatta

 

KARACHI: A relief camp 'Khadim Al-Haramain Al-Sharifain Campaign', has been set up in Thatta for the relief and assistance of flood affected people.
According to Saudi Royal embassy in Islamabad, out of the Saudi determination to establish camps to shelter the flood affected people, the "Campaign" has decided to establish "KHADIM AL HARAMAIN AL SHARIFAIN CAMP", which is expected to shelter approximately 500 affected families.
Apart from shelter the flood affected people will receive in this camp various types of free services, i.e. food and medical care, by the Saudi field hospital in the area, till they return to their homes, they will also receive certain basic health and daily use material like kitchen ware etc.
Furthermore, the Campaign is working on a plan to establish more similar camps in flood affected areas.
These camps will be supervised by the "Campaign of Khadim Al Haramain Al Sharifain" in coordination with the administration of the camp, till the time the emergency relief circumstances of the flood hit areas are over.
The aforesaid camp and its affiliated services will be inaugurated at Thatta by Saudi Ambassador Mr Abdul Aziz Bin Ibrahim Al Ghadeer tomorrow (Saturday) as a special Eid gift from the Saudi people to their brothers in the flood affected areas of Pakistan.
The regional office of the Campaign in Islamabad is working under direct supervision of Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior.-APP
