Traders assures full support in energy conservation plan

  ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Islamabad Chambers of Commerce and Industries headed by its President Zahid Maqbool called on the Chief Commissioner Islamabad here on Friday in his office.
The delegation assured the administration their all out co-operation for implementation of energy saving plan in the city.
The delegation also appreciated the efforts of ICT Administration for maintaining peace and seeking the co-operation of business community in implementing the energy saving programme.
The delegation also put forward some useful proposals for making the on-going energy saving drive more effective. Chief Commissioner Islamabad said that the business community of Islamabad has always extended their co-operation to the Administration on important policy matters and the administration hold the business community in high esteem for their valuable contribution made on all occasions.
He informed that their valuable proposals have already been submitted to the higher authorities.
Chief Commissioner Islamabad said that the administration has also prepared pamphlets for distributing among the traders , educational institutions and citizens for educating them on energy saving measures.
Chief Commissioner Islamabad also thanked the business community for extending co-operation to the administration in energy saving drive.
The delegation also discussed some problems being faced by the traders community. Chief Commissioner Islamabad assured the delegation the traders problems will be resolved on priority basis.
He also directed the concerned officials to immediately look into the problems and take corrective measures forthwith.
The delegation also included Munawar Mughal , Malik Suhail, Tariq Sadiq, Chaudhry Mukhtar , Abdul Rehman, Liaqat Ali and Naeem Siddique.--APP
